You do know there's much, much cheaper tickets than $250 for the New York meet right?

Not to sound stupid, but I didn't realize Penn relays paid appearance fees... do they? I know he ain't cheap but is he doing this pro bono for the sake of God, Country and smashing the WR?

No shit. Bolt has to run at Penn R and Ichan. Those meets are 95% Jamaicans in the stands. That's his peeps.

What kind of non-championship track meet doesn't pay appearance fees? Where do you think all the money from HS'ers entry fees goes?

There's no Worlds nor Olys this year 2010 so Bolt can goof off and do the whole TV meet circuit. Next year it's back to work for elites with Daegu 2011 to contend with.
