I owned a pair of these shoes a few years ago and absolutely loved em. They were my favorite pair of running shoes ever, but Nike sadly stopped making them. the air zoom elite that followed them were alright but just not the same. Does anyone know of ANYPLACE that I can find a size 9.5 or 10?

I wish I knew man. I'm always checking the nike outlets and browsing through old eastbay catalogs, hoping to come across the good 'ol Talaria. I loved that shoe too. The Talaria treated me pretty good back in '98. I'll post to the board if I come across a pair...

Go to the USATF wbsite. Apparently Nike donated a truckload of Talarias to them and they're giving them away to clubs and in contests. Maybe you could talk them into selling you a pair or two.You could try the Nike toll free number until you get to talk to a human, 1-800-BET-NIKE.

oddly enough, they recently reissued the Talaria in Japan. "Talaria J". If you go to the nike.com site, and choose Japan as your site you can peruse, and see they have that along with some other interesting shoes available across the pond.

I don't see any sites where you can buy them, and I can't quite figure out the japanese writing.

OK i found em. But I don't know a word of japanese so that makes the ordering process kinda hard.

unfortunately, a lot of the sites say that they only will sell to people in Japan. Sorry, I only said they existed, not that they were really available.
