I remember that family. People predicted she would burn out. They were running crazy mileage and unbelievable times when they were in their early teens.
I would love to hear what happen.
Another one from the 70's- Maryetta Boitano or something like that. She was a little different- running marathons at a young age.

I remember her 1986/87? when she was 9 (I was 20) she passed me in the Amnericas Finest City half,doing near 6:00 miles, breathing like she was having an asthma attack but ran an incredible time for her age and prob placed overall female. I read she ran in college but was only doing like 18:3o 5k times. I once saw all the kids jump out of a motorhome and start running all-out up a 2mi hill trail in SD. No kids I've ever met would do that much training without being pushed real hard.
She's part of a huge, right-wing, jesus-freak family. By the current pics, it doesn't look like she's been doing too much mileage.
