So what is more important, altitude or critical mass? Will the success of the Fila camps or Team USAs be due to their placement, or the fact that they draw a number of people into one place to feed off one another?
Were most of the people on Hodgie's list training solo, or are there rough groups represented--I see the affiliations, but are those symbolic more than practical? (I honestly don't know, but would appreciate any insight)
as a side note, Dan F of GBTC has shown up here recently, maybe that'll make me a fast marathoner all of a sudden (I wish :-))
