where is Shannon Rowbury? didn't she run a 2 flat
I believe it is now Anna Pierce
Rowbury ran 1 800 all year and it was 2:00.94. We had another woman at 2:00.88 as honorable mention so we felt like Rowbury didn't deserve a top 10 ranking since she only raced it once and it wasn't significantly faster than any of our top 11.
She still goes by Anna Willard.
And I agree with Willard being 1st, very consistent runner.
Excellent idea but it belongs on the front page, not hidden here in the gossip column. And eliminate the "how great we are" BS and just give the rankings and justifications as you see them.
If you do this it will be a good show and a worthy addition to letsrun.

And the "'how great we are' BS" is not overwhelming and is not BS; this most likely will be the best end-of-year recap of American distance.

I think these rankings are 100% spot-on.
No, she most definitely goes by Anna Pierce.
What about Katie Waits? She came in first at US indoors, 3rd Boston Indoor Games, and first at Payton Jordan. She season bested at 2:01.78, but you guys said your rankings are considering finishes. I believe she should be in the top 10, last year, T&F News ranked her 7th in the nation. I would say shes still about 7 or so. Just my opinion
