You guys get everything mixed up. I'm not defending her, if she took drugs.
Just that she will be missed on the circuit. Her style and looks were second to none in women's middle distance running, and she looked very feminine and delicate away from the track, dressed in street clothes. A beautiful woman. Check out the pics.
It is surprising what she achieved coming from Karaman in Eastern Turkey, a highly conservative region, not far from the Syrian border. She often had to hide when training so as not to get unwanted attention. A very brave girl.
She may have been naive. She took the stuff, because she was basically forced to do so by her coach and entourage.
One has to feel sympathy for the girl.
.
You are unbelievable. First you say, "I'm not defending her" and then you proceed to do nothing BUT defend her.
"Oh, but she looked great"
"Oh, she was very brave and came from a tough area"
"Oh, she was naive"
"Oh, she was FORCED to take drugs"
"Oh, let's all feel sorry for her"
You defend every drug cheat like this and it is disgusting.
