I managed to run 3.18.20 at the Am'dam marathon last weekend.Hit half way in 1.32, but the last 10k was very hrad work.Didn't feel tired,just my stride went to pot.
Any ideas for training for my next one? My longest run for this one was 20.5 miles and I ran 4 other runs over 2 hours.
I also did reps twice a week and averaged 60-70 mpw.
Anything you guys can sugest? I plan to run another maraton in march or april of next year.

I am a 34 year old male.
Currently weigh 152 pounds.
PB's 4.09 1500m, 9.05 3000m, 16.15 5000m, 34.15 10k.
56.05 10miles, 76.14 1/2 marathon, 3hrs 6 mins marathon.
The quick pbs are all from the early nineties and the half is from 1988! I did do 78.50 at the Great North run in 1998,but then got bad achilles problems.Also had an accident last year that stopped me running for 8 weeks and involved rehab.Cut across my right achilles and got 15 stitches,still have a scar!
Any advice from the forum would be appreciated.

more mileage, more long runs (20+ miles), turn one of the rep workouts into a tempo workout, try an occasional marathon pace workout (12-15 miles)...
