nick, is that you? shouldnt you be resting up for your big race this saturday? You really shouldnt be posting this close to nationals!
that is not nick welch
Is it really necessary to attack someone when they're obviously devastated about what happened on Saturday? I'm sure he already feels bad about not being healthy enough to race up to his capabilities at regionals, let alone what happened to his teammate Matt Rannd (sp?).
LOLOLOL Tufts has to make other people wear TUXC gear at awards b/c its the only way it'll make it there! They don't even realize that the biggest slight is on themselves! Maybe they should have focused more on the race than on T-Bear. Rand just lost focus which cost the team the chance to get rejected from Nationals. :( Alternatively they could have brought T-Bear to the race so the bad karma would not have hit them like a train. All American? Not now. All Obnoxious? Oh yeah.
Rand crawled to the finish line after being in 30th place (racing well!) for most of the race because he wasn't focused? I didn't know a lack of focus could make someone need to be hospitalized.
Glad I could clear things up for you addd. Consider it a Public Service Announcement.
You didn't know? Hypothermia is one of the leading causes of losing focus and your will to compete in races.
Hey dbags don't start trashing injured runners because you guys couldn't protect your pathetic stuffed animal.

Hypothermia? Impossible!! How could anyone get hypothermia with those stylish arm sleeves on?
It wasn't hypothermia (although that certainly could have played a role). Rand actually had a severe electrolyte imbalance brought on by the cold medicine he was taking that week. He looked great for most of the race, but collapsed with 300 meters to go. That kid has some serious balls for finishing.
Cyclopses, I am not Matt Rand, so if you finish a race the way Matt did, I will still pick you up out of the mud. But if Matt sees you crawl across the line, he ought to spike you in the back of the skull.

Matt wouldn't do that, though, because unlike Cyclopses he's a good person.
