He also has the 7th highest QB rating in NFL history.
The QB rating system is incredibly flawed.
However, fat ol' Ben is the worst to have won two. Hell, he owes his first win to officials who did all they could to steal the game from Seattle - and this is from a guy who hates the Seahawks (Charger fan).
It would be great to be the slowest runner to win two gold medals. The slowest guy on the relay might be a better comparison.
If you look at career stats, it's surprising to learn that Jim Plunkett was as bad about throwing INTs as Joe Namath was. Ben might be better than Plunkett.
No, thats bs. It is definitely a legitimate question. He is, without a doubt, the worst QB to win 2 superbowls. Yes winning is the most important thing, especially in the playoffs, but he was not the driving force behind these two superbowl victories like the other QB's on this list were. And its not about having bad numbers; Aikman/Staubach/Bradshaw didn't put up incredible numbers but they were more responsible for their respective team's victories. Look at who Rothelberg beat: the Seahawks in 05 and the Cardinals last year- two pathetic franchises who were just happy to play in the superbowl. He didn't earn superbowl MVP of either game, and rightfully so. If you put any of the other QB's on that list on the Steelers, walk away with at least 2 rings, and a win tonight vs the titans that ended w/o the need for overtime.

Seattle got raped and beaten by that officiating...and the NFL officially jumped the shark with that payoff to the Rooney family.

How can you compare two QBs from different eras who played under different rules. Who knows how good Plunkett or Griese would have been with the flag football/5 yd bump rules?
Big Ben is good, but he is not one of the best of his era. Saying he is better than Griese is like saying Steve Plasencia was better than Paavo Nurmi bc he has a better PR.
