As much as I'd like to think I'm too mature to think its funny this still gets me every time.

I love how most people's perception of good movies doesn't go back past 1980.
Funniest movie ever: Bringing Up Baby (1938).
Funniest scenes: Benjamin Braddock arriving at the hotel for his first fling with Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate (1967) OR Hot Lips Barton (Hope) and Scat Sweeney (Crosby) try to teach American hep talk to three Brazilian musicians in Road To Rio (1947) OR the crowded stateroom scene in the Marx Brothers' A Night At the Opera (1935).

(RE: Planes, Trains, and Automobiles scene) That's about the least funny I've ever seen Steve Martin be in about thirty years of watching and listening to him. And it's beneath him--he doesn't need gratuitous use of the word "f***" to get laughs. Very, very lame.
I agree.
Two more offerings:
All the guys sitting around talking at the end of Diner, and my wife's favorite, the "tallywacker" scene in Porky's.
On this whole thread, the only one i laughed at was life of Brian. You guys can do better.

Why don't you do better and post something? This is what is wrong with America today, it's all about what others can give and then you bitch about it rather than going out and working towards something. That's just too hard huh?
Well I had to think about it.
Here's my submission, "messing with stoners":

They made movies in 1938? Was is a Silent film or a Talkie?
I guess you fools have never seen Street Trash:
How about the tug of war with the dirty sheets in Trainspotting? Can't youtube it from this computer but it was one funny scat scene.
