Good points, sir. Yeah that chest puffing happens for sure, can't escape it anywhere. I think it can be agreed that many runners don't feel like they get the respect that they deserve.

I never said that I don't care what others think, I do care about what mature observers of the scene like 'The peeps in Boulder' think. Like Sell put it, when I want to know some pipsqueak's take on the state of things then I'll just ask my little niece. I agree with what 'The peeps in Boulder' stated and despite your weak attempts to make it not seem so, that final line is actually meant only for a hater clown like you.
If there is no shame in losing to D2 runners then why would you try to make a big deal over it? So will you be racing the Shootout or have you ever? Do you live in Alamosa or Gunnison? Just realize that CU runners let their legs do the talking and never come on here to talk up a storm of nonsense. Class it up, stop making ASC and WSC look bad by jumping on here to take digs at CU. Somehow ASC and WSC clowns can never resist. Too bad for ASC and WSC, I have a lot of respect for their achievements but the way their supporters behave on the boards is something I can't help but pity.
Jesus Christ, how old are you? "Hater clown." Nice.
I'm sure you're plenty smart, but your reading comprehension needs some work. I'm not making a "big deal over it." I simply entered this pissing match after you started making excuses about why Western and Adams are good and may, on rare occasion, beat CU... academics, foreigners, older athletes. Ring a bell? Is it really that difficult... give credit where credit is due. All of these athletes are working their asses off and none of us should discredit others who are pursuing their dreams.
So how about you stop making CU look bad by "jumping on here to take digs at ASC and WSC?" Why not flip everything around in your last few sentences? Are you a CU clown that can't resist?
Didn't see Ryan's name in the women's results, but Wetmore said that the ladies were missing "someone important" in the race. I'm wondering if he was referring to her.
It would be nice if she's finally healthy enough to compete.
Given the source, all I can do is laugh at this point. While you're getting your feathers all ruffled over reading comprehension, you somehow missed those comments as being sarcastic response in kind. Hey, they're still facts, right? We'll get you straightened out soon enough, don't you worry.

Wonder why Ryan didn't run? She's listed on the roster, but she hasn't competed in a long time.
It's tough to come out of a chronic injury cycle. No knock against her but not everyone is prepared to endure and put in the (non-running) work to get through it, it can get the best of some people. I'm sure she'll continue to try to get through it as long as she still has eligibility but no telling whether she's really directly addressing the root of her issues.
