It's time you finally familiarized yourself with deductive reasoning.

I wouldn't want to run for a coach or team that cared about whether a team from lesser division showed up or not, much less beating them. Invite races are just workouts, and even championship races like Regionals, to quote from memory Goucher from RWTB, "It doesn't matter what happens at regionals, it matters what happens at nationals."
Which is why CU won regionals last year then came 12th at nationals with more than 1 team from their own region in front of them.
And to you grand daddy - CU is a spent force, get over it.
Whatever happened with Allie. She qualified for World Cross. Went didn't run and then I never saw her run any track. Anyone know?
Joe you are the man!!!! Hope you have a great fall.
Just asking is 26:4.something a good time for that course? What have others done on the same?
I know I'm late to the show, but does anyone know specifically why Jordan Kyle transferred from Indiana?
He wanted to be a contendah!
You're so full of shit and are just trying to get a rise out of people. Give it up. You can say all day long that CU doesn't care about losing to ASC or WSC but you know the truth whether you care to admit it or not.
If Wetmore doesn't hate losing, he shouldn't be coaching. I don't care who or what time of year it is.
Again, they didn't "rely" on overaged athletes. Quit trying to stir shit dumbass.
For the other dumbass that said invites are just like workouts, then why run them? Oh, because the NCAA says so...There is a little truth to that, but it's also where kids learn to race. If you knew anything about winning or coaching, you would know these races are important for the brain as well as the body. These are things you can't get from workouts.
Your propensity not only to maintain delusion but also to project is cute. If you had even half of a clue I might see cause for concern. As it stands, your buffoonery speaks for itself.
Little Daddy, why such a chip on your shoulder? Running is running. Enough with the academic standards BS. Who on the Adams, Western rosters wouldn't be D1 eligible? Enough with the foreign or older athletes excuse. Who were all the overaged athletes at ASC, WSC that wouldn't have been able to run D1? Have their been some in both programs? Absolutely, but to say ASC relied on overaged athletes is simply false. By the way, Pre, Virgin, and Salazar all competed against overaged foreign athletes. Never heard them once complain. It seems like CU's gravy train has been relying on FL champions. Without those, there isn't much to the CU mystique.
There's no doubt CU focuses on nationals. Same for Western and Adams. If you think otherwise, you're just plain ignorant. Despite CU's focus on nationals, quit acting like CU doesn't care at all about getting beat by either Western or Adams. That's BS. Haven't been to the Shootout in a couple of years, but it was interesting how CU would have always have a little awards ceremony when they'd win, but the year Adams beat them, there was none. The SID walked over to the Adams team camp and just handed them the awards. No announcement, nothing. No respect whatsoever.
Another one who's prone to projecting and delusion. Sorry that you live and die by the Shootout, almost nobody in Boulder does.
It's funny how you keep thinking this is about the Shootout. If that's what you took from my post, then it's hopeless. Are you having difficulties actually responding to the questions that I asked or is it common for you to spit out shit without actually backing it up with facts?
I remember hearing about that. For the however many years that CU raced and won their little home meet, there was still an awards ceremony for their magnificent win...but the year Adams State took it to them (and, by the way, probably would have been top 5 - top 10 at Division 1 NCAAs)...nothing. I can't remember who told me that, but I did laugh a little on the inside
Remind me why I or anyone else should give a fuck what the likes of you thinks.
Haha daddys getting angry... boo hooo
Why would you think something that stupid?
Grand daddy-
If you didn't know, people on this board love hating on CU and Wetmore, always have, always will. Also, the people you're fighting here are most likely D3, D2, or not top notch D1 schools and they're angry that people don't give them the respect they (rightfuly in my opinion) deserve.
For the record, a lot of people respect D2 and D3 guys, so there is no need to get all emotional about it. You're grown ass men, for f*cks sake... That only makes people think you're little bitches who can't shut up and do work w/o talking about it later, and need to go out seeking respect from anonymous people online.
With that being said, CU don't really care about the shootout too much. If they win, sweet. If they don't they don't sweat it. The top 7-9 train through it, while the rest bust their asses to make the traveling squad and taper a little more. Grand daddy is right in his analysis of the point of the shootout; its also a formal intro to the race season and a push to the limit that only a race can bring. For vets- its good to analyze where you stand fitness wise to years past.
Cu's training is geared toward nationals (whether or not that day reflects it). The buff ranch course is also really dependent on the individuals on a given team, unlike Terre Haute which is a track and its more fitness than anything. When people blow up on the ranch, they blow the f up. The Buff Ranch takes into account not just overall fitness but terrain (some people need good footing), hills, response to elevation (huge...). Some people just suck at it year in and year out, people from elevation orig. are just better at the buff ranch.
I get the feeling that CU, adams, and wsc all like and respect each other enough, and I bet quite a few of them even go back a little ways.
-hmmmm: chill out, for everyone's sake. I bet you're a good enough runner. try acting like it instead of a wet ass vagina, for real.

Actually last year was the first time since the late 80's that a non-DI athlete won both the men's and women's race at the Shootout. As for team scores, you would have to re-figure them since they are listed as separate.

Bingo.
Regards to the rest, insecurity among runners is alive and well at all divisions. D2 or D3 runners trying to defend themselves are no more insecure than D1 athletes trying to puff their chest thinking that being on a D1 roster automatically makes them better than a D2 or D3 athlete.
Little daddy, why do you keep coming back if you don't care about what others think? Read peeps last sentence as it applies to you as well.... "chill out, for everyone's sake. I bet you're a good enough runner. try acting like it instead of a wet ass vagina, for real."
