Jager might have talent but he won't be approaching 13 until he straightens out his running form- his head was bobbing like a cork in that heat at the Worlds- too much wasted energy with excessive side to side and vertical motion.
Evan Jager looks like John Walker when he runs. Not bad.

Emil Zatopek says f*** you
Jaeger will end up being the best of all 3. He's only 20 right now, which is 4 years younger than Solinsky. If Jerry keeps him focused he'll be running faster than both of those guys by the next Olympics.
By this time next year, at least three more americans will have broken 13 (besides, lagat, ritz and teg). And by the next olympics, we will have new AR from 5k up to the Marathon.

Zatopek's best was 13:57.....
false. rupp will. jag 50 50
Zatopek broke 13?
Ritz and Teg sub-13 in the 5k, and that's just the beginning.
- We have guys like Solinsky and youngsters Jager and Rupp
- We have reakishly talented high schoolers like Verzbicas, and behind them dozens of potential greats running sub-9:00 two miles in HS
- The phenomenal runners still in college: Fernandez, Wheating, Derrick, and many many more.
- Ryan Hall and Kara Goucher leading the marathon charge
- Barringer, Wurth Thomas, and Willard all sub 4:00 in the 1500, with Rowbury .33 away herself
- Flanagan bronze medalist last year in Beijing
I think we can all finally agree that the American distance running revolution has arrived.
