A single payer system won't do this. The single payer system works for fat ugly people. It doesn't work for thin attractive people.
Actually, it does. Someday you will be old and have bad knees and a bad back. Maybe you won't be able to fight your genetic destiny and will have cancer, or even high blood pressure. you'll need medications and maybe surgery. And maybe, just maybe, you'll be unlucky enough to get in a car accident, or get injured.
then you'll need insurance.
