McNabb, Westbrook, and Vick in the same backfield could make for a nasty wild cat offense.

Or perhaps a wild dog offense. Thank you. I'll be here all week.
are you cereal!?!?
I live in the Philadelphia area, and would be thrilled to have such a harrier on my team. I think it will add lots of fun drama having him.
Definitely not a replacement. Might not even be the #2. Remember that he hasn't played a game in a long time and wasn't on McNabb's level as a passer even then.
Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff, ruffing the passer, number 79......
Take a bite out of slime...
Again, I'll be here all week.
I thought the Eagles were pretty set with their 3 Quarterbacks.
Who says that ma f***a is going to play quaterback anyway?
It was OK for the networks to make money with American Sportman where stars pretty much killed every animal under the sun using every available weapon under the sun and then congratulated themselves ... and you all enjoyed watching it. I am not a fan of what Vick did, but it should be put into perspective.
Yes, I guess they can just put him anywhere in the backfield.
Always a threat to run or pass or be a decoy.
McNabb can still run when he needs to and taking some eyes off of him could be trouble.

No perspective would be if those guys bought baby ducks and trained them to be killer ducks then let them fight to the death and/or hung the poorly performing ducks.

WTF are you talking about?? I never even heard of, let alone watched and enjoyed such a thing.
Imagine the defensive confusion if they put Donovan in on first and second downs and then switched to vick for third and fourth. The defense would be a mental wreck by the fourth quarter.

I am not much of a football fan but I would more likely have the punter in on 4th down than Mike Vick.
unfortunately this announcement means that Vick will probably not be one of the dignitaries at The Cup down in Atlanta this year.
Damn, I wanted the Vikings to take him. Childress is such an idiot: dends over backwards for Favre, which probably sucked it all out of his team, and then doesn't even consider Vick.
vick has some great handlers now since the fighting crap was aired. he's doing amazingly well with the press.
good for him.
I've heard rumblings about Vick as part-time running back? I think it would be easier for him to get back into sprinting shape than throwing shape. He hasn't touched a ball in what...2 years? Timing is going to be crap.
I say put him in a double-back formation. Maybe shotgun with double back? That could pose problems. You could then either hike it directly to Vick or hike it to McNabb. From there the possibilites become extremely interesting.
I think his days as a full-time QB are gone...but he can cause some trouble for the defense.
