Well, we'd have to have the OP ask Mr. Noone about that. I certainly don't claim to know what Noone thinks.

To start. I think that Gay has a chance but only in the 100 meter dash. At 200m Bolt is untouchable. Bolt's Achilles heel if you will is the fact that he is a terribly poor starter. If given the chance Tyson Gay will capitalize. I agree that Gays chances are slim. I won't count him out though. More so because he's an American ;)
Seems like tyson doesn't have much better of a start then bolt so i doubt he'll get the advantage at that point. I agree probably not close in the 200, but 100 could be a good match up this year!
Noone was quoted last week as saying that he saw the fear in Jason Rexing's eyes. I didn't believe Jennings for a second when he said that about El G, but this Noone is a seriously fearsome character.
KB is the man!

Is that an African name or Korean?
yeah
NOONE is faster than KB too
and elG
Geb is great as well!
The only way Bolt loses if he chokes Asafa style and Bolt doesn't appear to be a mental case.
If Gay had been the one who ran 9.69 noone would be questioning all of this.
I've heard Noone hangs out on this forum so maybe Noone will weigh in on this thread...

I agree totally. If Gay can get the jump on Bolt with getting a great start in 100m, he can cause some trouble. Plus, want to see the look in both of their eyes during the final!!!!
C'mon, everybody knows that noone is doped to the gills
Noone FTW! > Rexing 2!
If I were an oddsmaker I would give Gay a 12% chance, Bolt 87%, field 1%... So Bolt has a 7.25 times better chance by my amateur oddsmaking. And I do believe that if they raced 9 times Gay would win at least once.
I won't forget about Mike Rodgers either. He has improved a lot this season winning the indoor and outdoor nationals. I wouldn't be suprised if he's right next to Bolt and Gay in the final 30 - 10m. It's only 10 days away!!!!!
Thanks for the support and words of encouragement. I am not able to make it to the meet and therefore Bolt will likely win.
- Noone
Since NOONE will be running, and I doubt ANYONE can beat Bolt or Gay, I am wondering if there is chance that SOMEONE might pull an upset.
I think SOMEONE has a small chance, but since NOONE will not be at the meet let's just forget about it. But wait...if NOONE "will not be" at the meet that means that he will in fact be at the meet due to the double negative cancelation thing. Right?

If Mike Rodgers is in the conversation at all in this race it will mean that bolt and gay didn't make finals or something. Tyson and Usain run 9.7's often, and Mike Rodgers pr is in the 9.9's

Yes, Rodgers' PR is a 9.94 set this year's Pre-classic. But, given the fact they will be going through each qualifying round and getting used to the conditions of the track, some them will most likely PR in the final. That's just my opinion.
Mo Green - 9.90 prior to 97 World Champs, 9.86 in the final

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
