Does anyone know where individual results are? Who did what? Was it fast? Weather? Just looking for some feedback.

wrong date.... that's 2001... posted a link from last year (which will probably be updated later) but thanks.
Sorry, just glanced at it.
Are you sure that those aren't this year's results?I clicked on "XC Results" and then "Jim Drews Invitational" and it says the date is Saturday October 19, 2002.It says Teg and Keller ran around 25:00.
It was a cold, crappy day! U of Minnesota surprised me again they ran tough and even though wisconsin dropped a few guys at 4 miles i think they would have been in trouble! La Crosse ran damn good!
While I think it is smart not to overrace your guys, I find UW-Madison's "mind games" philosophy on running and racing kind of bullshit.
Just freaking run your guys once and a while and have them finish!!
I hope they get smoked at Big Tens.
I don't have a clue what's going on with them but I have a suspicion that "mind games" may be possibly accurate but only if they have several guys that have been injured and not running as well as expected. By hiding them, no one really knows what to expect. When they line up at Big 10's they may be hoping that the unknown will be intimidating to the other teams and they'll count on their tradition to give them the edge.
On paper most schools would look at this team and be somewhat intimidated. But if they are off this year, running those guys and having the other teams see the reality could give them confidence. That is if my theory holds true. This shouldn't matter really but it does seem like an interesting and smart tactic.
More than likely some key guys missed a couple of weeks in September that set them back and the coach decided to not open them up until the important meets. Time will tell but I have a feeling they'll be ready to easily claim their usual Big 10 title. No one can match that depth in that conference. Those two freshman at Griak will not be in their top 3, and those two are still going to finish top 15 at Big 10's.
"mind games", eh?
So, you think that the badgers are playing "mind games" and that is "bullshit". Well that's very interesting, because what you think it of the utmost importance to the badgers.
Perhaps, Schumacher, who has never finished lower than 6th at nc's and won 3 big 10 titles in a row, may know something about getting his guys prepped for the IMPORTANT MEETS!
of course, I am being sarcastic, and of course, you are a moron.
They will easily win the Big 10's!!!!! If they can get Spiker back by NCAA's, this may be one of there best teams!
Festa and Wallace will be with or near Teg. Keller is healthier than he has been for a while. They have two stud frosh!!!!!
I ran the Drews this weekend. I must say the Badgers looked pretty tough...but then again only through 4 miles. Teg and Keller were fighting up front with McComb while four of the Badgers were with most of the Gophers in the DIII lead pack until 3 miles. At the 3 mile marker the four badgers took off pretty crazily. It completely strung out the pack, when to our surprise the four guys dropped at the four mile marker and sort of left everyone out to dry with a mile to go. It made the race an interesting one because the pack got so strung out and people died when the Badgers stepped off the course cause they were trying to cover the moves that were being made. I guess I didn't see the reason for having them drop since they were right with Teg and Keller and McComb with a mile to go. The Badgers would have nearly swept the meet if they would have finished the race.
Interesting training since the Badgers could just as easily stay at home and do the workout or do the workout on the course before the race.
But they have to run so many races before big tens and nationals or they can't compete. So staying home is not a valid option
How bout the DIII teams? LaCrosse must have looked tough. I bet Oshkosh will rebound. The Nebraska Wesleyan guys seem to be slowly gaining ground on the top teams also.
Everyone's talking about the lead pack of Mccomb, Teg, Keller. If I look at the results correctly, they were all over 30 SECONDS behind Carlson. Unless I am wrong about something here, what happened? Was there a mistake? I can't see how they could mess something like that up.
the results were not wrong. Carlson broke away with the race quite early and everyone let him go. I am not sure why Wisconsin let him go, I am guessing that Carlson and the U of M wanted to actually race and UW-Madison was just trying to get a workout in...therefore it wouldn't be surprising that someone running an 'honest' race would not be challenged for the victory.
oh, and i didn't know that teams had to run a certain amount of meets before big 10's and regions. I guess it makes sense that wisconsin has guys drop out of races instead of doing workouts on their own then.
Is there a rule against attaching a helium balloon to yourself while running a road race?
Am I living in the twilight zone? The Boston Marathon weather was terrible!
How rare is it to run a sub 5 minute mile AND bench press 225?
Move over Mark Coogan, Rojo and John Kellogg share their 3 favorite mile workouts
Mark Coogan says that if you could only do 3 workouts as a 1500m runner you should do these
Red Bull (who sponsors Mondo) calls Mondo the pole vaulting Usain Bolt. Is that a fair comparison?
