he would have been second in the other heat

the 400 should have had at least 2 time qualifiers.....every heated race should have at least 2 time qualifiers to sort out issues like this where 1 heat is ridiculously faster than the other

They were running for place and easing up when their place is assured.

As a real talent, Xman will wind up being one of these guys that you say, how did he down the ball at the two yard line like he did at LSU as a frosh football guy, one of the huge talents, but will wind up blaming everyone but John Wilkes Booth for his no medals at anything big.

makes no sense every time we see this, he is plenty good enough, just does not happen. Saw him in HS and then at Penn and I said to myself how does he ever lose, what a prospect.

there is no one to blame here...he knew the top 4 advanced before the race...if he were to make the final and get fourth there, would you be pissing and moaning about him not making the world championships? If you can't get fourth in your heat, you have no beef about not moving on. period.
