I have a midget who holds my key for me.
I swallow my key as soon as I step outside to run, and I don't reach the end until it does.

Then you carry it above your head the same way Uncle Tony from Heavyweights carries the "devil log"

This is the ideal fanny pack: http://www.bestfriendspets.net/assets/images/FannyPackDog.jpg
You NEVER put keys in that pocket. I took a fall on a fast 5k once and the key penetrated my scrotum. No joke.

Did you ever notice that little pocket they build into the inside of running shorts and wonder what it's for? If you work it out then be sure to let me know.
Did you finish the race?
Do those come in cat varieties? I've been having some problems taking my tabby with me on my long runs.
For a cat you have to use one of these http://www.pettastic-petsupplies.co.uk/ekmps/shops/pettastic/images/rucksack_orange_sml.jpg
If I run in shorts that don't have pockets, I run with the key in my hand. I separate it from the others
Check out some of these puppies:
Talk about cutting edge!
I am going to have a kid so I can have my kid hold them while I am running
I've had keys fall out of those running short pockets when they get a hole in them.
The safer way without carrying extra crap is on the tie in the front of your shorts- single knot, then slip on key, then another single knot, then a bow, then another bow knot.
The only problem with this is if you run really far and the string gets really wet from sweat it can be hard to untie in a hurry and it looks kind of funny to onlookers if you are messing with the tie to your pants in public. It also looks funny if you just turn the key outside the pants and go up to the keyhole of your car door like you want to hump the car, but it is faster than untying.
i did this in high school during the summer, really simple
know how keys tend to have the hole in them for key chains and such?
slide them onto your shoe lace, tie shoe, done
Use a diaper pin to pin them to the inside of your waistband.
I had a special compartment added to my goo belt for my keys.Of course when my runs are less than a mile I do not need any goo but I wear the belt anyhow for training purposes. Nothing like good when ya start to go hyoglycemic.
I got married mostly so the wife could open the door for me and I don't have to carry any fcuking keys anymore.
or you could just hide it under a rock or bush and not worry about.
put them in the girls pussy who is moving to ny ny and makes close to 100k.
BTW I am sorry to hear about your injury and I was being flippant before, I hope you are OK now. TC.
