What's the program like at Princeton?
I maybe naive but I haven't ever heard too much about them.
Definitely not known for their 800 prowess. They've had some decent success with 1500 guys and despite their recruiting restrictions have some big-time talent at the 1500 distance.
Looking at their roster they have (or had):
Michael Maag '09: 4:00.XX mile indoors, 13:41 5K. Will use his final year of eligibility at Oregon next year
Hudson Andrews '11: CA state mile champ from '07, some sort of training-unrelated back injury
Trevor VanAckaren '12: Went from a 4:18 1600 guy in high school to a 3:46 1500 guy his freshman year
Mark Amirault '11: Perennially injured since his junior year of high school, still managed to run about 3:50 off of about 20 mpw
Kyle Soloff '11: 3:50 guy
Ben White '10: Ran 1:51 two years ago but seemed to be heavier this year
Jordan Sawadogo '11: 1:52 coming back from injury
They also have an assistant coach who can run 1:49 or so.
