Probably. Most likely KB also.
It's always possible, but if Said or Hicham or even KB did, it's over for me, never watching track again.
Probably not for Aoutia or El G. I think Pre probably did. I KNOW Salazar was on the juice. Webb probably was a few years ago, but is clean now.
End of thread.
aouita certainly condoned it as a coach.
don't want to take hgh and epo? then you will be beaten by someone who does.
lol EL G is probably the biggest doper
When we land against the enemy, don't forget to hit him and hit him hard. When we meet the enemy we will kill him. We will show him no mercy. He has killed thousands of your comrades and he must die. If your company officers in leading your men against the enemy find him shooting at you and when you get within two hundred yards of him he wishes to surrender – oh no! That bastard will die! You will kill him. Stick him between the third and fourth ribs. You will tell your men that. They must have the killer instinct. Tell them to stick him. Stick him in the liver. We will get the name of killers and killers are immortal. When word reaches him that he is being faced by a killer battalion he will fight less. We must build up that name as killers.
Yes
My opinion: Aouita for sure. One of the best in the world from 800-10000m with a WR 5000m and just barely off in the 1500 (Cram beat him)? Morrocan? That, along with some of the stuff I've read about him makes me think he was very dirty.
El G? I'd like to hope not as I'm a fan, but 3:26 and 3:43 are pretty damn ridiculous. Quite a few 3:30-3:34 guys have been busted, and even the English dope trio of the 80s couldn't run faster than 3:29 and 3:45.
The racing characteristics of these two and RR are very different (RR would only show up at major champs). This does not mean they were clean but diminishes slightly the linkages because there are some other similarities.

I've never seen Aouita (heard of him for sure) before that video NativeSon posted. He looks a lot like Ramzi just without the goatee. Doesn't mean anything (or does it?) just kinda noticed it.
Did Said Aoutia and Hicham El G dope too?
Those two have had more needles in them than any major hospital's yearly supply of sharps containers.
Did Said and Hichem dope too?
Nearly soiled myself in laughter. Is Lance Armstrong a cheat? Is Alan Webb?
you guys as a race are fantastically ignorant, but surely not THAT much
Mark Fountain pretty much left Australia because Aoutia tried to get him to take drugs.. he made things very uncomfortable for himself for a while by making it public.
Look at the extraordinary performances and you will see who was doped up and who was not.
Bekele - Yes
Geb - Yes
El G - Yes
Komen - Yes
I reckon EPO use was huge in the 90s but only a few had access to more sophisticated drugs later on. You have to ask yourself if Ramzi was able to get these drugs how many others have also been able to get them.

Can you explain to me how Kenyan / Ethiopian athletes largely manage to pass the drug tests, when athletes and cyclist are failing tests left right & centre from other countries:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_athletes_who_tested_positive_for_banned_substancesMaybe they are largely clean and other countries turn to doping trying to catch them up?

FAIL
It would seem that El G didn't have the wheels to run 3:43 in a nonjuiced state. If you peruse the IAAF tables for the 800 all time lists top 100 performances what stands out is that Mr. 3:43_fastest_mile_in_history did not make the 800 list , that is, he never ran 1:44 or faster for the 800. Dozens of runners did including Coe, Ovett (the great one), and Cramm (the faster one). Since Coe Ovett Cramm were all faster than El Juicy over two laps it would appear that either they were not fit enough to run with him over 4 laps or El G had a better pharmacist.
Or since you re a dumb ass you didnt know that el g only ran one 800m race in his life as a junior, he was more of a 3000m-5000m runner a youngster. El G can do 1'46 800sx4 with 3'rec. And no he was not juiced because you will never see el guerrouj outside, he is always resting and taking care of his body.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
