Hey so I am a freshman in college and next year our XC team is looking pretty solid and I want to help to contribute to their success as much as I can. This last year my PR in the 8k was 29:09 and I wanna drop at least about 2 minutes or more for this fall, but I need to get some really good training in this summer.. so what you think would be the best approach.. I was thinking about 800 miles this summer with this progression
May- 40 miles a week (only 2 weeks in May)
June- 50 miles a week
July- 60 miles a week
August- 70 miles a week
