Goucher falling off? Was leaning way back. Keeps trying.
why only showing women? they gave them 28 min lead when s/b 11 and the women so slow took away from viewing men
They're showing women because they're finishing AND it's a closer race ... aren't those a couple of good reasons?
Trautwig's an idiot. 'Ethiopian man and Ethiopian woman winners' and 'an Ethiopian sweep'
guys?
the men's race?
Coverage horrible, absolutely atrocious after women's finish.
Merga, Rono, Hall, R.K. Cheruiyot (I think) for fourth.
just a few notes on the race
Hall ran under 210 again grats
and someone tell goucher to stop being such a little BeeAtch!!! Crying??? Cmon, what a pansy.
no.

Goucher was doing way too much work the last part the race leading the group...

give them 11-minute head start to make it fair - why 28 minutes? so when running pedestrian pace they can still finish first? most people here don't like seeing minor league baseball and women marathoning -- we prefer cream of the crop

dude go f*** yourself...
when you spend the last 6 months directing everything you do towards one goal on one day, then on that day pour every ounce of physical, emotional, and mental strength you have into it and come up just short at the very end...
on top of having half the hope of the country on top of you
I think some crying after that is excusable...
again, go f*** yourself
One of the most boring and predictable marathons I've seen for a while.
Hall lost by what? 10-15 seconds? His front running gave him the best shot of doing exactly what he did today: finishing in the top 3. He did all he could possibly do. A slower start leaves more guys in the game. Old Robert C. up and died. That tells you how good Hall's performance was.
Merga was the man today.

Sorry, Kebede 4th, Cheruiyot 5th. Great race by Hall, good try by Goucher in a tough kickers race. She dropped some really good runners in that last 5-10k.

I know you are probably trolling, but it takes a real piece of $hit to say crap like that, even if you aren't being serious.
I hope you are proud of yourself you pathetic low life.
Well, 58 seconds. A minute. Still, a fine performance.
