Okay so I am sure everyone has heard the stories of how some person had a car (or large heavy object) stuck on them and in the face of death they summoned super human strength to lift it off.

Using this premise I am thinking of doing the following.

I want to set a world record in the 100M

I am thinking of having my friend release a hungry lion >100 meters behind me at the sound of the gun. I am hoping that the fear of death will give me super human strength and I will take Bolts record down.

However I do have one question. If the wind is within the legal limit will the record be certified or is there a rule against lions?

I think you would need more than one lion. Don't world records require a certain number of competitors to be on the track with you? If so, then you only have to run faster than your slowest competitor, which may not be >10secs. If you have the same number of lions as people (or more lions than people) then you'll be good to go.

These are the things I need to make sure of. I may only get one chance at this.

I am thinking for a WR you might need at least 2 people. Hopefully it is not more then 4 because I am not sure that will create the fear of death I am looking for. If it does I will need to look into more lions.

Anyone know for certain the answer to this?
