I've also noted that several previous posts which refer to this special treatment also manage to get scrapped. In fact, as time goes on, Slaney gets more and more post competition accolades. Protection from Nike? And at what stage do they give up?

Mary Slaney failed the testosterone ratio test so we are 90% sure she is a cheat.
It doesn't have anything to do with skin color.

The T/E ratio is 99% sure too. Slaney was given an opportunity to offer her medical records as a defense. She declined.

Not that it's an excuse, but alot of people believe Slaney was only doping in the twighlight of her career, just to try an stay competative. Meanwhile Jacobs and Jones were in their prime, winning and setting records. But who knows, maybe Slaney was doping throughout her whole career? (I personally believe its the former)

Lets also say that at that time only 10% of athletes were actually actually using testosterone.
Then it must follow that the probability that she was a cheater given that she tested positive was only 50%.

I think you need to go back and read what you wrote. Your maths is poor. (FYI, in Britain we write "maths" and not "math".)
p.s. I'm glad Zola Budd tripped up that hysterical, spoilt drama-queen bitch in 1984. (I was six at the time and I remember watching that race on TV - I didn't much know what was happening but they repeated the trip shot over and over again. I think that trip is what got me into running, so in part I'm grateful to Mary Decker Slaney.)
