I have heard that this is the new LEGAL supplement that is being used by several elite American distance runners. Has anyone had positive experiences that they are willing to share?

There was an interview with Ian Dobson on flotrack where he talks about it. I believe all of the Mammoth athletes are supporters of the product.
Complete waist of money IMO. 99% of legal OTC supplements that claim to give the competitor an edge are a complete waist of money.
FOLKS it is simple...if it had any major impact on athletic performance, attune to the benefits we see in AAS, it would be ILLEGAL.
The only really effective PED's are illegal. Rule of thumb: if it's legal, throw it away. If it's illegal/Rx only/scheduled(like AAS) it has the potential to boost athletic performance.
If you are hell bent on cheating, why not just cheat big? Cheating is cheating period...if you are going that route, you might as well bet the house.
Granted that 99% of supplements are junk, some of them are tainted with pro-hormones and designer steroids, which will improve performance.
I don't know if the percentage is as high as 99%. Creatine REALLY helps weight lifters and short sprinters. Sodium bicarbonate can knock your 800 and mile times down a few seconds. Caffeine can improve race times. Most athletes are moderately to severely deficient in magnesium and benefit significantly from supplementation. Chemicals in green tea (besides caffeine) help you focus. Glutamine has been shown to measurably improve recovery and or performance.
You're right that OTC supplements don't have near the effect of drugs/steroids/synthetic hormones, but some do indeed help performance, and that most crap being sold is just that, crap. Don't act like it's all the same thing though.
Somebody needs to spend the cash on this stuff and see if it really works.
Get blood samples measuring test pre-use and post, etc...
I'm pretty sure you're some kind of viral marketer
do people really take sodium bicarbonate supplements? I mean honestly, what do you do, gulp down a tablespoon of mom's baking soda?

I've never heard of mom's, I usually go with Arm & Hammer.

He means Sodium Phosphate, but it doesn't make a "couple seconds" difference as he says.
The person is right when they said sodium bicarbonate.
I'd avoid it though. Take slightly too much and you'll give new meaning to the terms 'runners shits'
actually its creatine phosphate..(CP) Your body breaks down the ATP when running long distances (ATP produces your energy) and converts it to ADP (adenosine diphoshpate) and by using the supplement creatine there is an extra phosphate which ADP uses to convert back to ATP. So creatine is actually very helpful because it will prolly provide a few more molecules of ATP to give you more energy. I personally don't take creatine but this is how it works for the most part. I dont really wanna get to in depth about this..
