I hear a lot of people pronounce it as "jewlery". It is clearly spelled "jewelry".
Sorry it makes people sound illiterate. I just got done watching a commercial where they attempted to pronounce this word, and it makes the actors sound like idiots. I know, sometimes the word is a mouthful, but I just thought I would point this out.
I can't wait to be corrected for all my minute grammatical errors!
