It has been 2 years since I ran a 31:00 10k and 14:50 5k at age 19. Left my D1 college team and as I approach the graduate school process I am 21.
When I left my team I was released (was planning on transferring but never did). I have NCAA elgibility remaining for grad school.
Since I lived on these threads a while ago I post with hopes of getting a little motivation. I need it. How should I go about contacting coaches? I don't want to violate any rules. Oh yeah, and how the hell does someone start creating a plan to run again? I've always been lucky to have good coaches telling me how to train.
When I stopped running I started lifting so I am still in good shape. I was 125 when I ran the solid times as a freshman but now I am 155. Just give me any advice.
