OK, I already thought that Rupp would be ready to run a fast one on his own, but with Chelenga, Daba & Geneti entered along with home town Shawn Forrest (recent 7:51 at UW) this is a stacked field. Basically you have a 7:51 guy who shouldn't place better than 5th.
Hopefully it won't go at 13:40 pace and then come down to the last 1600 because I think Rupp (and maybe Chelenga) could challenge the NCAA record. For Rupp possibly the American indoor record.
I'm giving Rupp an optimistic 13:19.7 (assuming the race gets going early). If it doddles for 2-3K I still think he will PR.
