St Mary's cannot be beaten!

i've got no objections to that.
actions speak louder than words
Better go book the Mini-bus then!!!
we've already got our mini bus booked and we're gonna whip lboro at the BUSA's!
we didn't even peak at the leed relays!
the BUSA's is what we are aiming for!
bring it on lboro, bring it on!
ooh thommo, the bull, cryer and hainesy must be well scared. did u forget about them at the leeds relays. your womens team was really good
for fuk sake KIDS! dont you think this dissagreement has been goin 2 far, from what i see st marys hate l'boro, l'boro hate st marys and for sum reason the st. marys todlers have sumthin agianst geordies! grow up the lot of you. ps. birmingham are gunna kick the lot of you fairys!
actually i think its more a case of st.marys having a grudge against loughborough as we're the top boyzzzzzz. we just find it amusing they try and compare themselves to us. so if your planning on peaking for the BUSA should I expect the same level of performances on the track again??? wen will you learn that cross country runners have no speed = cant win track which is the main season.
I think you'll find that Ian Stewart managed to win races both on the country and track (indoors and out).I apologiese for actually contributing a fact to this the pettiest of threads in letsrun history.

the bit about the track was personal cussing and not team related. this is because the previous pages have well documented my personal retardedness on conutry. tom i did take a few tissues out ther 2 stop the tears bud.
I agree to a certain extent that track is where a craeer is made, its the one way of comparing everyone in the world. XC is however very important and those who discount it do so at their peril, lets not forget that some of the greatest milers in the world were great XC runners, Ovett, Dixon, Walker, even Crammy finished in the top 25 in the national, when it was a proper national. Being better on the track than the country is one thing but running like a big girl becasue its a bit muddy is quite another. Track runners may find that they are not quite a s good on the country but they should still be competitive. A quick look at the WXC results will tell you that the strongest countries in the world on the track are also the strongest countries on the XC, and its the same names winning on both surfaces. Middle Distance men need to run Xc and over distance in the winter or have problems furthering their talent as they grow older. Its not possible to continue to improve anaerobically if the aerobic base is limited.
yea i did actually win the inter-counties 1 year but hav back trouble on x-c which iz my main excuse however i do stil rubn alrite on roads. thanx 4 your concern. lol.
My previous post was not a personal attack on anyone I do not even know who the majority of people on this post are. I can sympathise with back trouble, I have had sciatica problems on the muck for 5 years, and now have upper back problems in 3rd 4th vertebrae caued by over rotation in my lower back. Once the gun goes though i don't tend to feel it, I ran an XC last season when I could barely walk the Sciatica was so bad, once the gun went i was fine, but as soon as I crossed the line I was again reduced toa shuffling wreck. Some people are just not made to run Xc due to their push off, some use the surface to propel them forward and some run over the ground rather than off it. I think its necessary though, but like anything i am sure you could pick out exceptions, Jack Buckner comes to mind, don't remember him running XC at all.
yup i kno what ur saying 4 me it just gradually gets tighter as the race goes on til i find im going backwards without being tired.im alrite on roads 4 the distance and am gud on 400-3k on track but mainly 1500 once am in seniors in jan.
Waz, do you run in th UK? I could guess who just about anyone posting on this thread is except for you. The guy you were replying to is Steve Vernon. UK Short Course winner last year.
And all other posters are Chris Parr!
actually im only darth vader, sha'mown and most ov page 3 after all the pre-page grief i took i think this is quite reasonable.
everything saying either chris parr, i am chris parr or parrsy was not me. that was some tosser from st.marys who finds it easy to give grief but cant take it bak. been talking 2 kate reed 2day she sed id pissed u all off so my replies were obviously better than yours.
haha class! geed up there parrsy, you pissed them off!
Are you sure you all do degree's at St Mary's...you do all seem to have to much time on your hands.
