We are stranded in Las Vegas- most likely for several days (or weeks). We came here for our cousin's 21st birthday and robert's car proceeded to break down. It may be fixed in one day, but the mechanic said he normally recommends that people go home and come back as it normally takes weeks to get fixed depending on the parts situation. We should know more monday.
We could take a bus but having lost at the tables, we thought we'd use this as a test to see how popular these boards are (mainly we're bored and trying to come up with things to do - like post on the message board - so we don't go gamble any more). Thus if anyone happens to be in Vegas and is heading south towards arizona, we want to hitch a ride - to flagstaff ideally but phoenix would help as well.
If that doesn't exist, we'd be willing to go east to boulder to celebrate chris lear's final days of singleness.
We'll pay you something to offset costs. Please take our money before the tables do.

There is a chance I'm going to New Mexico this weekend. I could meet you in Albuquerque Sunday afternoonish and drive you guys to Boulder. I'm in a small condo you can crash at for a couple of days unless Lear or someone else you know better has more space. If you're stuck in Vegas, run mornings only out by UNLV and southeast of there. It's the only residential part of town that seems 'safe' and fairly quiet. Afternoons are a bit too picante in that desert. And buffets are the way to go. Buy Powerbars and water/fluids to get through, and eat like a horse only once a day for under $10.
