The problem is you don't know what you are talking about. NCAA rules prevent Solomon from ever controlling the prize money, and he controls the prize money if he has the power to decide which charity should get it. With NCAA approval, Solomon may be able to return all his race earnings to the race directors who in turn will decide what to do with this returned money.
With all the publicity here, Solomon will need to get special approval from the NCAA to compete in college (just as Rupp did). He may get that approval but he will have to list all his prize money earnings. If he forgets a few monetary prizes and that later comes out, his NCAA running career is over.
