This is a good one. I have never seen a griz in person but many times on Nat.Geo and they and the Polar bear are the baddest animals on this continent. The stomp to the back of the skull is funny, their skull is indestructable accept by a bullet or axe etc. There would be ten dead guys in less than two minutes because he would feel cornered in the room; therefore, he wouldn't kill one of the guys and eat him-he would just kill all of them then eat them.
Now lets give the runners a chance.Ten runners in a 12ft.x12ft room with a big ass male Kodiak grizzly bear...over a thousand lbs. Now if each had a 44mag pistol I say he would kill two to three runners still unless a couple of the guys were real good shots but some would live. All might make it if they started shooting all at once and were aiming at vital areas,head,lungs,heart.
Now lets say it was with knives.Very sharp,strong, and ten inches long.If the runners had the balls to just start stabbing no matter what the bear was doing to them and aiming for the heart lung region then anywhere when they couldn't hit these vital areas then five might live unless someone got in a really lucky or skilled four or five quick blows to the vital areas and all still able keep stabbing him in the neck, back,sides etc....the balls would be a good option also. Even if no one died some one be maimed.

I would like to think that the people could win, but I don't think there's anyway they could. A bear is just too strong. Sorry humans, but we suck in the realm of natural defenses.
