I am in the middle of the best training cycle I have ever put together. Consistency, good total mileage, the best workouts of my life, and still feeling far from stale.
I am getting close to my goal half-marathon, and am interested to test what I can do for 10k in a local race the weekend before. I think that it will help guide my pace selection for the half marathon (I haven't run the distance for a while) and also be really encouraging and a PR.
But can I do it without burning my legs for the half?
