I run 70-80mpw. Never had an achilles problem, but it's been sore now for about a week It warms up after 40 mins or so and I CAN run on in...but I want to know whether I'll dig myself into a hole if I keep going?
I have two big races (10 and 13.1) in the next 6 weeks and then I can call it a season. I need to get there in one piece with as little missed days as possible.
I am going to start water running (have a pool) but what else can I do besides ice? Should I take a week off or push through it?
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
