That's exactly the area of pain I have, although it usually doesn't go into the calf. I thought it might be sciatic nerve, too, but am convinced it's muscular.
Hey misc, can anyone recommend a good office chair for 10-12+ hours of use? I want to buy a good quality chair and so far, I have run through some of the cheap $150-$200 chairs
The sciatic nerve passes through the piriformis muscle, which means a tight piriformis muscle is squeezing the sciatic nerve. In this case, sciatica can be relieved by relaxing the piriformis muscle, freeing up space for the muscle.
