Who would win this race? Imagine if the cool runnings guy wouldn\'t have tripped at the trials...Could have already had the 100m gold for Jamaica.

Nah. Yule Brenna would have won that race if they hadn't tripped. He was a beast.
"I see PRIDE! I see POWAH! I see a badass mutha who don't take no crap offa NOBODY!"
Derice Bannock claims his PR for the 100 is 9.9. Assuming he is not simply rounding his time down, this is a hand time, not FAT, and we must add .24 to adjust his PR t 10.14. Although the venue at which this PR was set is unknown, if we are to assume it was run at the same facility where the Jamaican trials were held, then we know that his 10.14 was run on a dirt track and must be taken into consideration when we are making future comparisons. While there is no standard or accurate conversion from dirt surface to mondo, I think it would be safe to assume that a 10.14 run on dirt is comparatively weaker than a 9.72 run on mondo. Perhaps we will leave this to Gods of speculation.
As for whether or not Derice Bannock would have taken the first 100 m gold for Jamaica, lets take a look at the race data for the 1988 Summer Olympics, the games in which Derice would have competed.
1. Ben Johnson 9.79*
2. Carl Lewis 9.92
3. Linford Christie 9.97
4. Calvin Smith 9.99
5. Dennis Mitchel 10.04
6. Robson DeSilva 10.11
7. Desai Williams 10.11
If we insert Derice's 10.14 run on a dirt track into the results, he places last. While it is probable that on a mondo track 10.14 would be considerably faster, it is unclear whether he would have been able to surpass Lewis' 9.92.
usain bolt is fast just not consistant enough to be bettering himself again and again derice was hungry for more, always more usain WAS a one hit wonder always the same within a hundreth or more derice was wanting to rpove something and did hes a real track hero and rolemodel to all.
