Colby Lowe just blazed a 4:06 1600 at the Texas State Meet after his 8:53 3200 this morning. Not bad for a days work.

It will be real interesting seeing how good OSU might be these next few years...
That's nothing, German Fernandez ran a 8:39 3200 in a small dual meet where a bunch of elementary school kids where running and he lapped all of them at least three times while running in lane 8 because the other lanes were filled with people. Oh, not to mention that it was extremely windy and he was running on a cinder track.
video anywhere? couldn't find it on flotrack
He did it running an uphill track, both ways.

Ah, the old M. C. Escher relativity track. Many a time I have suffered with aching, burning quads on that cursed sonofabitch. It didn't take long before I got the clever idea of running in the reverse direction, figuring I'd get some big personal bests, but dammit if it wasn't uphill in that direction too!
if you're talking about the state champ race, its here

You referenced Escher and Huxley in the same post, I thought I was the only one who did that sort of thing.
cook ran great as well.
Yes. Agreed on Cook. Everyone was expecting Colby to get a run from Blake Shaw. Cook's 4:08 was very impressive. I think a kid in 4a ran a 4:10 as well.
