I sure hope you are talking about some new kind of onion I've never heard of before rather than calling red onion purple onion.

I'm munching down on some Hawaiian pizza and just couldn't help what other fellow letsrunners enjoyed on their pies.
Pineapple and ham slices on cheese seem to do it for me. What about you guys?
Funny thing is, nobody in Hawaii had ever heard of a Hawaiian pizza until ~ 1984 or 1985. At the time, some places (mainland-based chains) called it Hawaiian pizza, while local pizza joints called it Canadian pizza.
Nothing. The toppings often disguise a bad product. I want to taste the (slight) sweetness of the crust and sauce. I want a small puddle of fat on the cheese. I want it done at the appropriate temperature (900F, give or take) so the texture is perfect. I'm a fan of Pizzeria Regina (Boston North End) or Frank Pepe's (New Haven CT).
