Yes it seems crazy that he is 9 seconds ahead of last years state champ, but in case you havent looked into it.
Last year Californina State 3200 was pretty tactical compared to the past.
I mean I believe Chad Hall went through in about 4:36 and the winner Eric Avila hit the first mile in almost 4:40. There could have definately been a few sub nines last year. Not trying to take anythign away from german, but im just saying....
