Update:
Last week i hit 28 miles with 6 days of running. I had to cut back on my tuesday/wednesday runs and i am taking off one day a week.
I did all the runs steady except for a long run of 8 miles which was my longest run all week done on a saturday.
Friday I did 3xmile with 3-4 minutes rest in (5:34,5:36,5:31) The weather sucked so it is hard to compare to other workouts.
Today I did a workout in my neighborhood which has a huge hill. I did 5x1k in 3:20,3:10,3:24,3:11,3:27. As you can tell k's 2 and 4 are faster because i go down the big hill as apposed to going up it on k's 1,3,5. I felt really smooth and my race is this Sunday.
*For the record I ran 16:38 5k on the track with 70 mile weeks. My record for 5k road was 16:59 off 70 mile weeks. The object of this training is that i can only do around 30-40ish miles a week.
Goal race on Mother's day is sub 16:30 on those shorter miles. Thanks letsrun for showing examples of what you've done with the low miles.
Happy Running
