Don't think of it like that, think of it as 3.5 seconds faster per 100m. Or going about a foot and a half farther per stride. Or having a turnover of 220 instead of 180.
Or just race a 4k and pretend it's a 5k.
why do you say that?

Is that "sheeeit" a reference to Senator Clay Davis on "The Wire"
Come to the dark side. With the drugs The Emperor and I will provide you, there is no telling how fast you and your friends Bekele and Geb and Wariner and so on will run.

here it is
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TI4-QyAzY64&feature=related12:37 for 5000 meters
this is so far beyond my ability to comprehend i can not believe it is without PEDs
12:37 isn't that great. There was this kid in my ROTC class in high school who ran the 5k in like 12 flat. And that was with boots on. But he never went out for the track team.
i kinda like running wrote:

yeah...i had one of those kids at my highschool too.

If you don't understand the point of doing something because someone else does it better you should probably off yourself now as there will never be anything in the world you do that someone else can't do better
Or you could just run and race because you enjoy it.
Your call, but I recommend the latter
will never be anything in the world you do that someone else can't do better
i've always disliked this statement, because there is someone who is the best in the world. Kenny B can run the 5km faster than anyone else can!
Imagine of Jason Rexing had a pair of spikes.
Neil Armstrong must've been juiced too, I just can't comprehend somebody walking on the f***ing moon! Blows my f***ing mind!

Wow, that's a pretty broad stroke. Pretty much everyone fast in pro track -- all medalists, world and American record holders (Hall, Kennedy, Webb, Wariner), and everyone who jumps higher and throws further than most -- all medalists, world and American record holders. Just like cycling (Lance), baseball (Clemens), football (Merriman), pro wrestling, MMA, boxing, horseracing.

and you have proof of this where? You wanna say that "Top athletes" use steroids, fine, be wrong. But when you put a name to those athletes and now you are taking away from their individual accomplishments with no proof.
You have no right to do so.

The Bekele/Geb/Wariner connection to drugs is not completely implied by Lord Vader's statement. Read it carefully.
I guess you're supposed to be naive if you think they're clean. So, in that case unfound, stupid, broad accusations become acceptable. Who needs proof when you're not naive?

Good answer. That highlighted section is what penguins often do: treat a marathon as an ultra time- and food-consumption-wise or proudly state, "I ran the [whispers 'half'-]marathon in 3 hours!"

No doubt the same person. He gets around... fast.
