rode my bike across America - alone.
I wrote a treatise on the use of orthotics in children that was published in the American Journal of Pediatrics (I used a fake name)
I'm hesitant to publicly confess my greatest non-running accomplishment in detail, but maybe your mother will spill the beans if you ask.
Probably becoming a Presidential Scholar.
A high school thing. How sad is that?
Started multiple college xc/tf teams. (Well, it's not related to *my* running.)
Wish I could say I'd won championships with them...

I made it on my own after a tough childhood. I left home and started a new life in another country.
Recently I signed a book deal for my first novel, sold a screenplay, and finished other projects.
I also got a kick out of passing the Mensa test in my non-native language.
I bowled 30 strikes in a row one time.
