Is there a list of dual meet records out there somewheres? E.g., fastest 1500 ever ran in a dual meet and so on. I'm kind of interested in what the fastest times have been in dual meets. Thanks.

I've seen it in Track & Field News (outdoor duals) but it's been a little while. Go over to their board & ask and you might get some help.
didn't Henry Rono run a world record in a dual meet?
Yep. Either 3k or the steeple, I forget which. One of the few WR of the last 30 years that was not caught on video.
Give me a day and I can get these dug up for ya.
OK, thanks. I'll poke around on the T&FN site as well, but if you wanna post something here also, that too would be swell.
Forgot to mention that I'm looking for U.S. outdoor collegiate dual records, though some of the international (like U.S.vs. U.S.S.R.) stuff would certainly be of interest.

He ran 13:08 in a tri-meet in 1978. WR at the time.
None of Henry's 5 WR's were set in true dual meets.
His first, 13:08.4, was in a triangular at Berkeley, Cal - Ariz. St. - Wash. St.
His second, 8:05.4, was in Seattle in an open or invitational meet, the Northwest Relays.
His other 3 WR's were all run at non-collegiate meets.
See February 2008 T&FN, page 12. However, their list includes not only pure dual meets but also "marks made in scoring meets with 4 or fewer teams."
