I agree. Just because its a small amount relative to the overall profit of these professional sports leagues doesn't mean it is worthless. Many pro sports leagues and athletes give money to charities that is a similarly small portion of league revenue/individual salary but does that mean it isn't making a difference? Before you start bashing them, ask yourself what is better $10 million towards doping causes or $0 towards doping causes.
2.5 million a year isn't that much.
