Women would have a pro tour if they wore better outfits. Just look how successfull beach volleyball is for women. do you think it's because of the skill level?
I'd like to see the totals if they included appearance money.
I think many major races pay more in appearance fees than in prize money.
That shocks me with how little those numbers are. It makes the Brooks Hanson $100,000 guarantee a little more impressive.
yes--in many cases races pay more in appearance fees than they do prize money. also many races have "private bonus" structures as well.
