After I run I usually drink a small recovery drink of milk, sugar, whey protein, and a little glutamine. Does milk inhibit absorption at all?

The calcium in milk will inhibit absorption of iron and other cationic metals. Other than that, as far as I know, you're good to go.
From what I've been hearing iron, calcium, and polyphenols(an antioxident) all fight each other for absorption. Otherwise, i don't think calcium hurt absorption of anything else.

Well thank goodness the anionic metals are safe!
