I'm 27 and used to be fat. I lost a ton of weight and started running and have gotten faster and faster over the last couple of years. My 19:15 pr was in july at a small race (20-30 people) for my employer, and I won. I might as well have won the NYC marathon I was so pumped. It felt like I was traveling at the speed of light. I can't even imagine how some of you are running 1-2 minutes PER mile faster than me. Kudos. You guys are awesome.
