I am a female college distance runner, and I just had my bodyfat tested at 10%. I am 5'2" and 103 pounds, and I've heard that elite females are around 12%, and I am no where near elite, and I also heard that women stop menstruating at around 15% bodyfat--I still get my period regularily though. Does this sound right? I'm happy with the 10% and everything, but is it possible to be this low and still be healthy? I lift weights and eat healthily, running about 65mpw.
