i want to hear what people would guess i can run for a mile if i have a 400m PR of 52 and a 5K PR of 14:40.

Well with PR's close but slightly slower than mine, I would say a 4:15 mile. My best is only a 4:19, its all a matter of how well you can buffer the lactic acid.
I would say a safe guess would be somewhere between 4 minutes and 5 minutes.

I'm not sure of your time, but I can say with 100% certainty that you are a complete douchebag.
and you must certainly be the coolest guy in the world to post anonymously about someone you've never met calling them out as a douchebag. I bet you're so cool, I bet you're tossing around 100s like money is going out of style, driving around in some brand new efficient sports car that's not available to the public, f***ing supermodels and then getting sick of them and going on to famous tennis players, wearing your fitted gucci suit with your slicked back hair. damn, i can just imagine how cool you must be. i think i'll go kill myself because i, a message board poster that you'll never knowingly make contact with, will never be nearly as cool you oh brad pitt of the message boards.
Mr. Bitter, your table is ready.
On another note, why is it that so many runners who seem to be elite (like trainer...based on his times) have no idea what they would run a certain distance in? If you have run that fast over 400m and 5k, I would assume that you know what you're doing. So, why post on this forum to find out something that you should know already?
I understand some guy who is new to the sport who ran a 22 minute 5k wondering about what he could do at other distances, but not someone like you. Certainly you've run a mile for time before, or at the very least have an idea of what you could do, no?
actually I only posted this thread to help bump another thread down because it contained information that i didn't think needed to pop up on here. This is one of many many threads that I've posted to help do this. this is a bullshit thread that, not surprisingly, brought out mr. super cool who likes to call out douchebags. Again, I have to assume that he must be the coolest guy of all time.
Thanks for playing though guys.
